Description:

Splendid Palas is a hotel located in Büyükada that has a huge importance 
because of its historical and cultural heritage. Our task was to come up with
a modest re-design and a new website, but after a series of discussions, we
decided to pursue a total makeover instead. As the owner wanted to keep the old
logo, we searched for options to keep a part of it but also creating an up to date look. By separating the elements from the old logo and adding some new ones, we wanted to achieve a contemporary look that accompanies its true soul. We had the
chance to build a generous brand universe that gives the historical heritage a new breath.
